Nomination Term & Conditions

By submitting a nomination to Our Influencers, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Who can be nominated?
Anyone can be nominated as an Influencer, regardless of their age, background, occupation or number of social media followers. Our Influencers celebrates everyday people who have made a positive difference to somebody else’s life or their wider community.
The nominee must:
Be a living person
Be someone we can contact, celebrate and, where selected, send or present a gift to
Be nominated for genuine and positive reasons
Have a connection to the nominator, whether personally, professionally or through the community
If the nominee is under 18, permission from their parent or legal guardian will be required before they can be featured or receive a gift.
Information required
To submit a nomination, you must provide:
The nominee’s full name
Your relationship or connection to the nominee
An explanation of what makes them influential
Your own name and contact details
Any other information reasonably requested as part of the nomination process
Your explanation should include genuine examples of how the nominee has positively influenced you or others. For example, they may have:
Supported you through a difficult period
Regularly helped people in their community
Shown exceptional kindness, courage or generosity
Cared for a family member, friend or neighbour
Inspired others through their actions or achievements
Used their time or skills to make everyday life better for others
Consistently shown up for people when it matters
Influence is not measured by followers, likes or public recognition. Anyone whose actions have made a meaningful difference can be nominated.
Nominations must be truthful
All information included in a nomination must be true, accurate and submitted in good faith.
You must not:
Invent, exaggerate or deliberately misrepresent the nominee’s story
Submit false or misleading information
Make harmful, defamatory or malicious claims
Impersonate another person
Submit private or sensitive information that you do not have permission to share
By submitting a nomination, you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, the information provided is truthful and accurate.
Our Influencers reserves the right to verify the information provided, contact the nominator or nominee for further details, reject a nomination or remove a published feature if information is found to be false, misleading, harmful or submitted without appropriate permission.
Permission and privacy
You should only share information that is reasonably necessary to explain the nomination. Please do not include confidential information, medical details, addresses or other sensitive personal information unless the nominee has agreed to this being shared.
Submitting a nomination does not automatically give Our Influencers permission to publish the nominee’s name, photograph or story. We will seek appropriate consent before publicly featuring an individual.
If the nominee does not wish to participate, be featured or receive a gift, we will respect their decision.
Selection
Submitting a nomination does not guarantee that the nominee will be selected, featured or receive a gift.
Our Influencers may review nominations based on the information provided, suitability for the series, consent, safeguarding considerations and our ability to contact or celebrate the nominee.
Weekly gift recipients may be selected separately in accordance with our Prize and Gift Policy.
Our right to reject a nomination
Our Influencers may reject or remove any nomination that:
Contains false, misleading, offensive or harmful information
Promotes discrimination, hatred, harassment or illegal activity
Exploits or humiliates the nominee
Infringes another person’s privacy or rights
Does not provide enough information to assess the nomination
Is otherwise inconsistent with the purpose and values of Our Influencers
Our decisions regarding nominations are final.
